FIKA
Coffee, bagels, and cocktails, a café bistro nestled along the western edge of Swansea Bay. Offering a relaxed atmosphere for your morning coffee aswell as chilled place to spend your evening sipping on a cocktail.
After talking with the owner about future plans and visions, including shared photos, existing menus, and brands, I began my process with a style in mind. The decision was made to focus on a typographic wordmark, placing the emphasis squarely on the name "FIKA", however, this simplicity still allowed room for creative flourishes here and there.
We introduced hand-drawn illustrations that complemented the simplicity of the wordmark. After a few rounds, the final identity not only highlighted FIKA's relaxed vibe but also created a joyful, down-to-earth feel.
